Once in a while in the life of a netlabel admin, comes that moment when you've got a submission that is amazing, but it's hard to write anything specific about it; because it's such a weird mix - let's try a checklist, then:
a) stone slabs (and face stabs) of rhythmic power-noise-glitch-plunderphonics
b) naive, yet kind of charming free guitar playing with lazy, depressive vocals in mobile sound recorder format
c) trance-tribal drum drones with a lot of deep reverb
d) hypnotizing glitched up jazz-funk rollercoaster goofy beats
e) spooky and chilling ambient plucks
f) intelligent electronic primal scream music
g) schizophrenic glitch madness
h) buzzy feedback of hell
i) very high speed drum loops paired with low speed sound effects and quiet guitar strums
j) bizarre sexual samples, leaving you with the impression of doing something really naughty.
So, if you think that it's a good idea to throw it all into a blender and see what will come out, try this release!
Just beware: it can get really Not Safe For Work at some of the times; if you're a radio DJ and/or are sensitive to curse words and suggestive sounds, please restrict listening to "A Day Out from the City", the Toxic Chicken remix and the four last tracks.
